Happy Birthday ‘Merica Jello Shots!

With 4th of July just around the corner it seems like, I would like to share an adult favorite for your 4th of July parties! With cheap, easy to find ingredients, and tasty concoctions, Jello Shots are pretty normal at most events these days. This is one of the best recipes I have tried and never have any left over!

Happy Birthday ‘Merica Jello Shots:

3oz package of Raspberry Jello

3oz package of Berry Blue (or any blue) jello

1/4c water of vodka

3/4c Blue Curacao

1 3/4c Raspberry Pucker

2c boiling water

Cool Whip (spreadable)

Mini Marshmallows (optional)

-Dissolve Raspberry Jello into 1c of boiling water and let cool to room temperature.

-Add 1c of Raspberry Pucker to the jello mixture and poor into portion cups filling the bottom 1/3

-Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours til firm

-Spread the cups with a layer of Cool Whip 2/3 of the way and try to level as much as possible

-Return the cups back to the refrigerator and dissolve Blue Berry Jello into 1c of boiling water

-Once jello is at room temperature, add 3/4c Blue Curacao and 1/4 water OR vodka

-Pour mixture over Cool Whip later to fill the cups and refrigerate for 30 minutes if adding marshmallows, or until firm if not.

-If you are adding marshmallows cut them into tiny pieces and spread over the top layer, returning them to the refrigerator for an hour+ before serving.

If you use marshmallows they are best served within 24 hours because the marshmallows will begin to disintegrate into the jello! If you try these leave a comment below and let me know how they worked out or send me your favorite Jello Shot flavors 🙂 Be creative!
